XNIA is a next-generation healthtech startup founded in Argentina to address one of the biggest gaps in global AI health models: the severe underrepresentation of Latin American genetic, imaging and real-world patient data.

Born in Catamarca, Argentina — a region with vast potential but significant healthcare access challenges. Inspired by real-world gaps observed in public hospitals and remote mining communities, our co-founders — physicians, bioengineers and tech innovators — saw an opportunity: combine cutting-edge AI with Latin America's unique ethnic diversity to solve problems both locally and globally.

We leverage a new provincial law mandating 100% digital prescriptions, exclusive access to 15+ public hospitals, and provincial public areas to deploy our platform at scale. This generates real-world, underrepresented Latin data across imaging, genetics, vital signs and patient interactions — exactly what global AI models lack.

Today, XNIA is more than a startup: we are a strategic partner for the future of inclusive health AI, with a clear path to expand across Latin America while collaborating with Chinese leaders in genomics, AI and digital health.

Our mission

XNIA is committed to transforming healthcare in Latin America through inclusive, AI-powered solutions that start in underserved regions like Catamarca and scale globally.

We deliver an integrated platform — telemedicine, AI-enhanced imaging, digital prescriptions, HRV wearables, camera monitoring, genetic testing, and a personalized AI Agent Companion — all connected via a freemium EHR system that drives massive adoption and generates high-quality, real-world data.

By prioritizing Latin ethnic and genetic diversity (severely underrepresented in global AI models), we improve local care while supplying critical datasets that enable Chinese and international AI leaders to build more accurate, equitable, and impactful precision medicine tools.

Our vision

To become the strategic bridge between Latin American health data diversity and global AI innovation, powering the future of inclusive precision medicine.

We envision a world where AI health models are no longer biased by geographic or ethnic limitations, but enriched by real-world Latin data. XNIA aims to lead this shift in Latin America as an innovation hub, partnering closely with Chinese leaders in genomics, large-scale AI, and digital infrastructure to co-create solutions that benefit emerging markets and global populations alike.

Through the Health Silk Road and strategic alliances, we seek to unite Latin talent with Chinese technological and industrial strength to advance longevity, chronic disease prevention, orphan drug discovery, and equitable healthcare for billions.

Our team

XNIA is driven by an exceptional founding team that combines decades of frontline clinical expertise, cutting-edge research in bioengineering and AI health monitoring, global infectious disease leadership, and proven technology entrepreneurship.

This rare blend of medical authority, scientific rigor, and entrepreneurial execution allows XNIA to not only build advanced AI solutions but also validate them in real-world Latin American settings — generating high-value, underrepresented data that powers more accurate and inclusive global health AI.

MD | PhD in HRV | Honorary ICU Chief
Eduardo is one of Latin America's most respected critical care leaders and XNIA’s strategic anchor. Honorary Adult ICU Chief at Hospital Italiano de Buenos Aires (prestigious 800-bed JCI-accredited hospital), he has international training in trauma (Miami) and transplants (Pittsburgh). Ex-president of major critical care societies and co-founder of transplant associations, he has published extensively and lectures regionally. Currently completing his PhD in Heart Rate Variability (HRV), Eduardo brings unmatched clinical rigor to XNIA’s AI monitoring and wearables, ensuring every innovation saves lives in real ICU settings.

MD | Bioengineering PhD Candidate | ICU Staff & Medical Director (Mining Health)
Juan is XNIA’s technological driving force and visionary leader. As an ICU physician at Sanatorio Pasteur (Northwest Argentina’s top hospital) and Medical Director for mining health services (POSCO), he lives the clinical reality every day. His PhD in Bioengineering focuses on camera-based health monitoring — non-invasive vital signs extraction from video that could transform triage and remote care. A pioneer in blockchain and data science for social impact, former president of university research bodies, Juan is obsessed with making world-class AI medicine accessible from remote Catamarca to the world.

MD | Leading Infectologist | Global HIV Authority
Isabel is Latin America’s foremost infectious disease expert and a global HIV pioneer. Medical Director of Helios Salud, Chief of Infectious Diseases at Hospital Trinidad, and advisor to Argentina’s National AIDS Program, she has shaped ARV guidelines across countries. Trained at top institutions (UBA, Hospital Güemes, University of Miami), she has led landmark international trials (NIH/Fogarty) and made headlines with the “Paciente Buenos Aires” — the second known natural HIV cure without transplant. Isabel brings unparalleled clinical authority and chronic disease insight to ensure XNIA’s AI solutions deliver real impact for vulnerable populations.

Pablo is a serial tech entrepreneur and strategic mastermind with a proven track record of building and scaling disruptive ventures. Founding member of deautos.com (Latin America’s leading automotive vertical, acquired by Grupo Clarín), US-patented inventor (SendPlus anti-spam technologies), co-founder of Genicas (stem cell banking and regenerative medicine), Multiventas (300+ employee edtech platform), and UMEWIN. Expert in M&A, transformative partnerships, and inclusive AI ecosystems, Pablo drives XNIA’s global strategy, sovereign/decentralized architecture, and high-level alliances — positioning the company as the definitive bridge between Latin health data and international innovation networks.
